The home of New Hampshire acoustic, roots, bluegrass, and folk music
Welcome to the home of NHAMA, the New Hampshire Acoustic Music Association. If you were searching for the National Hose Assemblies Manufacturers Association, use your back button. The people who organized and support NHAMA are on a mission to promote acoustic music across our state, increasing awareness of it among venue owners, promoters, and potential audiences. We want to give a one stop, state-wide platform:
- for performers to make themselves known and list their performances
- for venue owners to list their concerts and find new performers
- for recording studios, music stores, and radio stations to be known in the acoustic community
- for listeners to find acoustic music happenings throughout the state
We will be adding other resources for musicians as we develop them, such as listing:
- Workshops
- Lessons
- Educational programs for youth
- Sponsored concerts and benefits
- Legal issues associated with making and recording music
More ideas anyone?

A One-Stop Website of Information for all Listeners of Acoustic Music
The New Hampshire Acoustic Music Association (NHAMA) is a grass roots organization formed to help promote acoustic music throughout New Hampshire, helping to increase awareness of venues, performers, promoters, music stores, lessons, radio stations, dances, workshops and much more. Our goal is to provide a one-stop web site of information for all listeners of acoustic music.
NHAMA serves artists by providing exposure for local talent, cultivating the music community, and assisting musicians with professional development. Together, we provide a forum for acoustic music enthusiasts to network with each other, as well as share their talent and appreciation for roots music with the public.
A Friend to Acoustic Music -- The Mill in Bristol -- Needs Your Help
The Mill Ice Cream Cafe & Fudge Factory in Bristol, NH (one of the best coffee house settings for acoustic music in the state) is in trouble. They had to evacuate their building because a decrepit four story building next door might fall on them! Because of this public safety hazard, they've had to evacuate their building until the condemned building is demolished, which has increased their costs significantly. See their blog for details. "The Mill" is a wonderful family business that sells homemade products and hosts acoustic open mics and live concerts on a weekly basis. NHAMA would like to help save them.
So...how can you help?
NHAMA is partnering with The Mill to help promote their online fudge business.
