The home of New Hampshire acoustic, roots, bluegrass, and folk music

Welcome to the home of NHAMA, the New Hampshire Acoustic Music Association. If you were searching for the National Hose Assemblies Manufacturers Association, use your back button. The people who organized and support NHAMA are on a mission to promote acoustic music across our state, increasing awareness of it among venue owners, promoters, and potential audiences. We want to give a one stop, state-wide platform:

This Month's Featured Band and Featured Venue

High Range

High Range is an energetic roots/folk/bluegrass group with a long list of rave reviews from national publications. They highlight original music with a mix of cover songs on guitar, upright bass, mandolin, fiddle, banjo and drums.

Lauded by critics from Portland to Nashville, Beyond the Foothills has received a coveted highlight review in Bluegrass Unlimited, the premier bluegrass journal. “The vocals are tight and true; the instrumental work impressive, the songs a pleasure to hear repeatedly,” raves reviewer Dave McCarty, adding “High Range has forged a tight, compelling ensemble sound that is highly musical and thoroughly entertaining.”

A One-Stop Website of Information for all Listeners of Acoustic Music

The New Hampshire Acoustic Music Association (NHAMA) is a grass roots organization formed to help promote acoustic music throughout New Hampshire, helping to increase awareness of venues, performers, promoters, music stores, lessons, radio stations, dances, workshops and much more.  Our goal is to provide a one-stop web site of information for all listeners of acoustic music.

NHAMA serves artists by providing exposure for local talent, cultivating the music community, and assisting musicians with professional development. Together, we provide a forum for acoustic music enthusiasts to network with each other, as well as share their talent and appreciation for roots music with the public.
